What's New and Cool:

1) DASHBOARDS … Your ability to manage and get excited by the data in GoldMine will never be the same again

2) OUTLOOK INTEGRATION … Existing GoldMine Users may not be excited by this, but for those who love Outlook for email, will just LOVE the new integration included in GoldMine Premium Edition 9.0.

3) ADDING CONTACTS TO AN APPOINTMENT … GoldMine now provides the option to add or remove users and/or contacts from an existing activity. Currently to add users and/or contacts to an existing appointment you would have to delete it and start again.

GoldMine Dashboard

The GoldMine Dashboard is a place where you can quickly view and access data based on predefined criteria and view real time informational graphics and data tables. By using Dashboards, you can quickly: measure the flow of new Leads, view a filtered list of Lead records, chart Opportunities and Forecasts, review the Customer Service processes, review “to-do” lists, calendar, inbox, and progress toward Sales objectives, and view Forecasts and Appointments.

What is really cool is that you can not only graph and chart information from GoldMine but you can also include data from OTHER DATABASES. Imagine being able to display sales graphs by Industry, where the Graph is displaying the sales from your accounting package and the Industry field from within GoldMine !!!

Outlook Integration

The Outlook integration has been totally overhauled, so that you can view key GoldMine data directly inside Outlook. It’s integration to Outlook would only be second to Microsoft’s own product.

Now I know most of our clients do not use Outlook, but for those that do, you will love the visibility of your GoldMine CRM data, that this integration now provides. For instance, it includes a synchronisation of GoldMine Contacts and Calendar. Emails can also be linked directly to an Opportunity, Project or Case directly from within Outlook.

GoldMine email templates can even be used directly from Outlook. Very nice touch.

Other Enhancements

• Windows 7 is now officially supported, both in 32-bit and 64-bit versions
• Password Policy enhancements have been added for improved security
• You can now add or remove Users and/or contacts from existing activities
• Double clicking on an existing calendar item can now be configured to either open the activity or open the contact record
• Ctrl + C will now copy highlighted text in the Pending and History Preview panes
